Tata Jet Edition
This year in the festive season of 2022, Tata Motors is introducing a new series in the form of the Tata Jet Edition. It will be available across all Tata authorized dealerships.
Introduction
This new series from Tata Motors is influenced by ‘Business Jets’. According to official information, Tata's Safari, Harrier and Nexon SUV will be launched in this new jet edition. It is being introduced in a new color variant and this color is named ‘Starlight’ by Tata. In this, the exterior as well as the interior will also get changed, which will be only cosmetic changes. Along with this, some new safety features have also been added, which we will talk about further.
Tata Motors has focused on making all three cars more premium in this edition and they will be at the top of all the variants so far. Here Tata has focused on making them more premium as well as more safe, so they have some additional safety features which have not been seen in any Tata vehicle till now. That is why these vehicles will also be more expensive than the available vehicles.
Jet Edition Exterior
Jet Edition vehicles have started becoming available at the dealerships, you can also book them if you want.
The first thing you will notice as soon as you see it is its all-new dual tone copper body color which makes a great combination with the platinum silver roof. When viewed from a distance, it will look like white color to you. Along with this, you will also get to see black alloy wheels and silver colored skid plates too. Tata has also completely blackened the beige of the model here. All the changes are cosmetic but there is no change in the model.
Jet Edition Interior
The cabin will also see new colors which are a combination of dual tone Oyster White and Granite Black along with body color inserts at some places. In this you will get the seats in white color which is leather seats and also you can see the jet's beige in the head rest on these.
New safety features
In the new safety features, you get 14 safety features apart from driver dose of alert, panic braking and after impact braking. Some other features also include wireless Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, air purifier wireless charger, electronic parking brake and 4 disc brakes. All these features will be available only in Harrier and Safari.
In Nexon, you get ventilated seats, sunroof, air purifier and wireless charging only.
Engine Specifications
Tata has not made any changes to the engine, the same engine that was available till now is available with manual and automatic transmission in all petrol and diesel.
Nexon comes with 6 speed Manual/Automatic 1.2L Turbocharged Revotron Petrol Engine with the capacity of 1199cc 3 Cylinders with Max Power of 120@5500 PS (kw)@rpm and with Max Torque of 170@1750-4000 Nm@rpm and 1.5L Turbocharged Revotron Diesel Engine with the capacity of1497cc 4 Cylinders with Max Power of 110@4000 PS (kw)@rpm and with Max Torque of 260@1500-2750 Nm@rpm.
Harrier comes with 6 speed Manual/Automatic Kryotec 2.0L Turbocharged Diesel Engine with the capacity of 1956cc In-line 4 Cylinders with Max Power of 125 kW (170 PS) @3750 rpm and with Max Torque of 350 Nm @ 1750-2500 rpm.
Safari comes with 6 speed Manual/Automatic Kryotec 2.0L Turbocharged Diesel Engine with the capacity of 1956cc In-line 4 Cylinders with Max Power of 125 kW (170 PS) @3750 rpm and with Max Torque of 350 Nm @ 1750-2500 rpm.
